System behavior cannot be reliably inferred from:

  • self-report
  • past outcomes
  • correlation alone

It must be observed, encoded, and made legible.

This is why system intelligence cannot be generated synthetically by LLMs.
It must exist prior to the model.

Any AI platform influencing decisions about people is already shaping organizational systems.

The difference between the next generation of platforms will not be:

  • faster inference

It will be whether the platform can see system failure before it occurs.

That capability does not emerge from language.
